Manifesting Mindset (13)

“Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them: for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.” Luke 23:34

Jesus came with a Mind-set to forgive the world. This season we remember His spirit of the forgiveness He brought to our world. With all the pains and rejection He went through, that did not change His Mind-set for you and me.

The cross is very significant to Christian faith. Without the cross, there is no salvation, no forgiveness from sin, no deliverance from the captivity of Satan, no healing from sickness and diseases, no inheritance of the common wealth of Zion/Israel and there will be no hope of eternity with God.

Thank God Jesus did not change His Mind-set concerning us. That is why today, His name is above all names. His suffering took away our sufferings and sorrow. His humiliation brought grace and glory to our lives. His poverty brought riches to us. All these and much more were made possible because His Mind was focus on the assignment of the Father. John 4:34

I know of a pastor that forgives in advance because he has set his Mind to do so. This is because he set his Mind on the forgiveness he has received from Christ ever before sinning against God. Therefore, he daily receive grace to forgive others ever before they offend him.

Christ forgave your sins ever before we were born into this world. He died for you and me. He set His Mind to do the sacrifice we could not do for ourselves and did it on the cross. We are all born into this world to know sin without been taught. So we need forgiveness from sin and Jesus came to fulfill that. Praise God.

The question is, as a Christian, can you forgive like Christ? It is possible through the sacrifice of Christ. You and I must appropriate the forgiveness of Christ into our Minds first. This season is the season of forgiveness. It is the period to remember and reflect on what Christ has done for us. If we truly reflect through a personal retreat, the Mind-set of forgiveness that is in Christ will live in us and it will be easy to let go of offences.

Is it possible to also forgive others and forget the offences? Yes! Only God can truly forgive us and forget our sins in the depths of the sea. Micah 7:18-19. But as Christians, whenever we remember the offences of others to us, we are only remembering the forgiveness we have given them concerning the offence. That is the Mind-set of those who have been transformed by the forgiveness of Christ.

Christians don’t replay offences. God does not replay our offences. He does not even ask you to explain why you did this or that. He simply as you to confess and forsake your sins. He ask you to go and sin no more.

The forgiveness of Christ in advance, is not a license to sin. It is not eternal security. Christ did not die and forgave you your sins because He knows you are going to sin in the future. He forgave you because He knows you are a sinner.
Christ set His Mind on this because He knew we will always need help. That is why we can go to the throne of grace with boldness as heirs of His kingdom from time to time and obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16

Live with the Mind-set of forgiveness. Remember only how you have forgiven those who offended you.

I pray for you today, that the forgiveness that Christ accomplished for us on the Cross will be real in every life. Christ forgiveness will not be missing in your life and home. The lifestyle of forgiveness will be your lifestyle. You will not operate Christ forgiveness in error. The blessing, the miracle, the deliverance, the healing and wonders that comes will forgiveness of Christ be yours in Jesus name, amen.

The kingdom of God is the kingdom of the soul. The soul consist of your emotion, mind and will. God wants to control your soul. Surrender your soul to Jesus today.
