No one becomes successful by accident. Success requires making a plan and sticking to it. It is simple, but does require commitment, integrity, passion for people; it is not hard to do, but does require hard work. The good news is that once you begin, the results are coming almost instantly. The miracle of a successful living is that the smallest step towards success attracts more success! Here are very brief outline of the key points that will help you achieve the highest levels of success.
Believe in yourself. You are here for a purpose. Appreciate your person. Believe in God. Stop feeling ugly, you are beauty and your future is bright like the promises of God. God doesn’t make extras just to fill in the surroundings. Strengthen your beliefs about yourself. Beliefs must change for behavior to change. Find your mission and begin to work to fulfill it.
Positive self-esteem is the foundation for success. Feel good about yourself and your abilities, achievements and potential. Don’t dwell on your mistakes. Remind and praise yourself on the past accomplishments. Live a cheerful life. Congratulate yourself for taking positive steps towards a more successful future.
Desire to be a success. Decide right now that you will be successful. Commit to being successful. Napoleon Hill said; “Desire is the starting point of all achievement.” In order to be successful, it’s critical to get in touch with or really understand your desires. Muhammad Ali said; “Champions aren’t made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision.”
Associate with successful people. Do what they do. When faced with choices, make the choice that successful and wealthy person would make. For instant, spending your 13th month salary and bonuses this festivity period on party and hanging out only or investing it wisely in a profitable opportunity?
Avoid unsuccessful people. Do not under any circumstances associate with negative people. Negative people are toxic; they destroy, they do not build. They are vampires that can live only by draining the life from others. The odds are greater that they will pull you down faster than you can lift them up. Be wise. You can choose to stay away from all the negative people in your life. Avoid all the complainers, blamers, gossip. Negative people are destiny destroyers, dream killers and time wasters.
Follow your passion. Do what you are best at and what you get the most satisfaction from. There is no reason to stay stuck doing things or jobs that are frustrating, boring, unhealthy, unproductive, that add no value to your life, unrewarding on the longer term, demeaning or unfulfilling.
Have a vision. Write down the vision of how you want to live your life and be specific. Where you want to live, the type of cars you want to ride, where you want to be at a particular level in life, countries of the world you want to travel to, the empowerment and support you want to give your generation, etc. Make a future Vision-Board; paste in pictures. Make up news headlines about your achievements. Every day visualize yourself, as you would like to be in two, five and ten years from now and then act that way.
Friends, practice this few things and you will become more to have more. Tell yourself, I am the best gift to the world. Make it happen!
